1965
Born in Berlin, 23 of November.
1980
Career start at the young age of 15, as an assistant of photography.
In this era he works, among others, with Will McBride, Clive Davis,
Josef Moran and Dilip Meta.
1983
AK opens his first studio of advertising photography in Frankfurt
am Main.
1984
In Berlin he creates the multicultural project Bomba Colori.
Situated in an old factory, this project contains ateliers, a
stage for performances, an art gallery, a bar and photography
and film studios.
Apart from performances of various artists like Joseph Beuys,
Bomba Colori promoted a huge range of concerts: David Bowie, Tom
Waits as well as many european and northamerican jazz musicians.
1986
University Lecturer for Photography at the Fine Arts School of
Berlin.
1988
Journey to Czechoslovakia, preparing a report about the topical
situation of the intellectuals who, twenty years earlier, have
been involved in the political convulsions of 1968.
1990
AK travels through Poland, Czechoslovakia, Rumania, Lithuania
and Russia and makes an extensive report about the Jews in eastern
Europe.
Various reports for the agencies Reuters and Magnum.
1994
AK leaves Germany to live in Portugal [Porto] where he continues
work as a photographer in advertising and fashion.
2000
Removal to Lisbon where a new studio and an own crew are funded
to expand the business and perfectionize the conditions of work.
January 2009
Opening of Berlin Studio with full productionservice and inhouse postproduction.
